Refund & Returns Policy

At Anderson Electrical Trade Ltd, we aim to ensure all customers are satisfied with their purchase. Please read the following policy carefully before requesting a return or refund.


Returns

You have the right to return most items within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund, provided the goods are:

  • Unused;
  • In their original condition;
  • Complete with all accessories, manuals, and packaging;
  • Suitable for resale.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or apply deductions where goods are returned damaged, incomplete, used, or not in a resaleable condition.


Return Process

To request a return, please contact us before sending any goods back.

Proof of purchase will be required.

Customers are responsible for safely packaging returned goods to prevent damage during transit.


Return Shipping Costs

Unless goods are faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If collection is arranged by us, the collection cost may be deducted from the refund.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

Any shortages, transit damage, incorrect items, or faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery where possible.

Do not use damaged items, as this may be treated as acceptance of the goods and may affect your right to return them.

Where goods are confirmed as faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will offer one of the following remedies:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund
  • Exchange

This will be subject to inspection where necessary.


Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns for:

  • Bespoke or made-to-order items;
  • Special-order products;
  • Used items not in resaleable condition;
  • Consumable goods;
  • Hazardous materials or flammable products;
  • Any item specifically marked as non-returnable.

International Orders

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, customers are responsible for all import duties, customs charges, taxes, and VAT imposed by the destination country.

If these charges are refused or unpaid and the goods are returned to us:

  • Re-delivery shipping charges must be paid again before goods can be resent; or
  • Any refund issued will be less:
    • Original delivery charges;
    • Return shipping charges;
    • Customs charges;
    • Handling costs;
    • Any additional costs incurred.

Refunds

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

We reserve the right to deduct reasonable amounts for:

  • Missing components;
  • Damage caused after delivery;
  • Repackaging;
  • Collection or return costs;
  • Reduction in resale value.

Warranty & Repairs

Where products develop faults outside the standard return period, warranty repairs may be available subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Collection and re-delivery charges may apply for warranty repairs unless otherwise stated.
